Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award

Mae Canolfan Adrodd Storïau George Ewart Evans yn falch o fod yn gorff enwebu ar gyfer Gwobr Goffa Astrid Lindgren am lenyddiaeth plant, yr ydym wedi bod yn ei wneud ers 2011.

Cyflwynir Gwobr Goffa Astrid Lindgren bob blwyddyn. Cyfanswm y wobr yw SEK 5 miliwn, gan ei gwneud yn wobr llenyddiaeth ryngwladol plant ac oedolion ifanc mwyaf yn y byd. Mae cyfanswm y wobr yn dangos bod darllen gan blant ac oedolion ifanc yn hynod o bwysig. Bwriedir i’r cyfanswm hefyd ysbrydoli’r rhai sy’n ymwneud â'r maes hwn.

Cyflwynir y wobr i awduron, darlunwyr, adroddwyr storïau llafar a’r rhai sy’n weithredol mewn gwaith hyrwyddo darllen. Gellir cyflwyno’r wobr i un derbynnydd neu i nifer, waeth beth yw eu hiaith neu genedligrwydd.

Gweinyddir Gwobr Goffa Astrid Lindgren gan Gyngor Celfyddydau Sweden.

The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award is presented every year. The award total is SEK 5 million, making it the biggest international children’s and young adult literature award in the world. The award total indicates that reading by children and young adults is extremely important. The total is also intended to inspire those involved in this field.

The award is presented to authors, illustrators, oral storytellers and those active in reading promotion work. The award may be presented to a single recipient or to several, regardless of language or nationality.
