Storytelling and Activism Symposium

The George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling Annual Symposium and DS9 Festival joined forces to present a two day symposium with a digital storytelling strand on the theme of ‘Storytelling and Activism’.

Roger Hill, Natasha Freidus and Mark Dunford were the keynote speakers and other contributors included Dr Geoff Fox, Jack Lynch, the makers of ‘Still the Enemy Within’, David Solnit, Otherstory Puppetry Collective, The Institute for the Art and Practice of Dissent at Home and Philip Ralph and Fern Smith. The event included lectures, presentations, film screenings, performances and provocations.
