Dr Christina Papagiannouli, member of GEECS and research assistant at the University of South Wales, features in a article on a Greek newspaper titled Neos Agon about 'Art, New Technologies and the Internet’ panel of the 2016 eLife Congress.
Following the publication of her monograph Political Cyberformance: The Etheatre Project, Papagiannouli was invited by visual artist Dr Anastasia Zoi Souliotou to present her work on online theatre at the 5th International eLife Dual Congress, 23-26 June 2016. Elife is an annual congress held by the Hellenic Association for the Study of Internet Addiction Disorder, under the Auspices of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic. The conference is organized in partnership with the Ministry of National Defense of the Hellenic Republic and has attracted the interest of Greek media.
