We are delighted to share news about the Young Storyteller of Wales.
The Young Storyteller of Wales event on 10 November is open to seven to 25-year-olds who live in Wales or are of Welsh descent to tell traditional stories (no longer than 5 minutes) in Welsh, English or bilingually. No experience is necessary and there is no entry fee. Storytellers may perform as individuals, in a pair, or a group of three.
All competitors will be judged by our judges in one of 3 age categories: 7 to 11; 12 to 18; or 18 to 25 years old. Prizes will be awarded to winners in all age categories.
One of the many excellent prizes that the winners might receive is a mentoring session with George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling Research Fellow, Dr Emily Underwood-Lee.
