Event Date September 23, 2017 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location – Atrium, CF24 2JU
This free workshop run at the University of South Wales will help anyone with a connection to apples and orchards to tell their story. Over the course of the morning you will get the chance to think about what stories you have to tell, to have a go at some writing exercises, and to learn the basics of sound recording in order to make a short recording of your own story. The workshop takes palce as part of our Modern Story of Orchards and Cider Making in Wales project.
this workshop is suitable for adults at any level of creative writing or oral history experience; if you have never put pen to paper it will serve as a great introduction and if you are an experienced storyteller you will have a chance to focus on the specific subject area of the apple and orchards. This is the second time we have run this workshop at the Atrium. It sold out last time we ran it so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note: space at the workshop is limited. Due to high demand we are not able to offer a place at this free workshop to people who have previously attended a Modern Story of Orchards and Cider Making in Wales Story workshop.
